Membership: An Overview

What you give to AIR and how you grow from AIR are often one and the same. AIR members are actively doing the work to continually educate ourselves, each other, our companies, our clients, and future talent - often going beyond our comfort zones along the way.

We apply our learnings professionally (and often personally). We collaboratively share knowledge to drive change and impact.

There is no monetary cost of membership. The value of your wisdom and willingness is priceless. We take our commitment to one another and to DEIC (diversity, equity, inclusion, culture) seriously, and we hold ourselves accountable for doing the work to evolve ourselves and our industry.

Membership: Commitment

1) Attend bi-weekly AIR meetings.  Meetings are focused on educating our collective. Content is everything from panel discussions on “The Experience of Black Women at Work” to “The Importance of Pronouns for Allyship with the LGBTQ+ Community”.

2) Join at least one AIR Pod.

This is a smaller group of AIR members collaboratively tackling a specific DEIC or AIR-related project. We have many pods - focusing on everything from unbiased interview processes to partnerships with other diverse organizations.

3) Complete certification in EQUIFY.  EQUIFY is an online educational course in diversity, equity, inclusion and culture. AIR members receive their learning for free as part of being in our community. All incoming members must be EQUIFY-certified.

Life Gets Busy. We ask that all members actively participate. If you don’t have bandwidth right now, we understand and ask that you set aside membership for a time when you are able to commit. You can still sign our pledge!
